Antique victorian parlor or lamp table, with a scalloped table top of solid tiger oak and a decorative apron. Tiger oak is not a type of wood but a technique, quarter sawn to show off the distinct wood graining. This method was used in the more "designer" styled pieces, indicating its prestige during the early 1900s. The gorgeous wood grain sits atop tapered bobbin spindles which are booted by brass eagle claws that are clutching glass balls for feet. Legs are removable and has all the original hardware. Excellent condition!
